Our Chief Instructor, Rocky Davis

  Becoming a good man without struggling, facing adversities, and overcoming impossible odds to survive is impossible. 

  Rocky Davis, a New York native, had a quintessential American upbringing. He excelled in every sport he tried. In his teens, his father sparked Rocky's interest in firearms and competitive shooting, eventually leading to his career as a firearm instructor and government contractor.      

   Rocky's experience in high-risk operations,  he successfully uncovered an international covert military operation that smuggled Iraqi AK-47 rifles concealed in US Army vehicles after the first Gulf War into America.  

   Rocky went undercover without authorization to successfully recover high-tech military equipment stolen from battle-ready units at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. His work uncovered a significant theft ring on the Base, leading to the recovery of all military weapons, equipment, and dozens of vehicles stolen from soldiers. 

   However, life can change in an instant, and in 2010, Rocky nearly died when an IED exploded, burning over 40% of his body.  Despite suffering numerous respiratory and heart failures, Rocky refused to give up. Instead, he fought for his life, focusing on the positives of life rather than dwelling on the negatives. Against all odds, he awoke after 23 days in a coma. His recovery from traumatic brain injuries and burns was only part of God's plan. 

   God began working to reach Rocky's heart, and he became a living testimony of God's grace and mercy. Today, Rocky's scars are proof of the Lord's Healing and Deliverance, and he encourages others to face their challenges regardless of their circumstances.  The Message of Hope and Faith connects strongly with those struggling to find purpose, direction, and meaning. For those, their journey is a testament to the power of Faith and Resilience in the face of adversity.
